Hello!

My name is Isabel, I am 25 years old and currently studying an NHS funded masters degree to qualify as a Speech and Language Therapist at Newcastle University.

I am fully DBS-checked and I have lots of experience working with children:

*I have completed clinical placements working with children with a variety of needs as part of my training in the NHS - these include children with ASD, speech and language difficulties, attentional difficulties, learning difficulties and visual impairment. These children have ranged from three years to 16 years.

*I worked as a part-time carer and tutor for a secondary-school age child with a variety of additional needs for two years

*I assisted my sister with childcare of my niece and nephews (currently 8, 6 and 4 but I have cared for them since they were born)

*I frequently care for the children of friends and relatives on short notice

I am friendly and reliable, and I love to think of fun and creative activities for children. I am happy to help with homework and cook meals for a child in my care. I am flexible with my availability and can work around your requirements and expectations.
