Holly, babysitter in Horden SR8

I am Holly, a 17 year old student and I am studying level 3 childcare and I have completed my first year. As well as working in professional environments such as a day care and primary school as a part of my course, I have worked with children as a volunteer student mentor and I look after my younger relative all the time. In the primary school I led board game activities as well as written activities so I know how to support children effectively. Whereas in the day care when working with babies I focus more on direct care such as nappy changing etc. However, working as a student mentor has allowed me to understand safeguarding further but also more about children's feelings and behaviour. On the other hand, looking after my younger relative, has been more relaxed and it has allowed me to take him on day events such as the farm, park, restaurants etc. showing that I have experiences in different situations and circumstances.
