Georgia, child care in Blythe bridge

My name is Georgia and I am 17 years of age. I am in full time education at Newcastle-Under-Lyme college currently studying Level 3 Health and Social Care. My future career is to become a community midwife, so helping those who are new mums to be and giving them all the help, support and knowledge of what to do when they conceive their child – also with helping families who have previously had children. I love to look after children and help with anything as best as I can, I am willing to 100% meet the demands of the parents and also respect their views and opinions. I will also meet the child(s) needs in order for them to be happy and enjoy my company.

I also work part time at River Island, in Hanley Intu Potteries Shopping Centre, where I work mainly on a Saturday but do get asked for extra shifts but I know that I am organised and straight forward to have time to look after children. I do have a provisional driving license and currently taking driving lessons, to which I hope I will pass by the end of this year if possible.

I once looked after my cousin for many days whilst he was on school holidays and also in school, so making sure he was up and dressed ready for the day, bathing him, cooking and making his lunch, helping with any of his homework. Also worked around the house, by tidying it up and making sure it was clean for when he got home and also when his parents got home. When my cousin had his school holidays I did many activities with him to ensure he was not bored, so he was enjoying himself. My availability will vary on when I have college and if I can do many nights on weekdays – but I will help and do my best to try and work around that.

I am looking to babysit to try and get as much extra money and to help with parents who aren't able to have the time to help with their children as they may be too busy. As I do not drive just yet I am limited to where I can travel in the Stoke-on-Trent area.
