Maisha, babysitter in Bristol BS2

Hi,
My name is Maisha and I am 19 years old. I have studied Childcare Level 2 and my local college 1 year ago. I have a great passion with working and looking after children of all ages. My course helped me gain more experince by offering placement, which I go off and help work in schools/nurseries twice a week while I am away from college. This helped me develop my learning and understanding about the care of children in many aspects of thier care and learning.

I grow up with a big family and from the age of 7 I was helping looking after my siblings. which then turned into taking care of my cousins, nieces and nephews from 6 months onwards. My close families with say I have a "motherly nature" and would take care of every child like it's my own. From a young age I have always had this passion and would often feel rewarded. I feel I am very responsible for my age and would take every matter seriously.

When working with children of all ages It's important that you have a bond which each child for them to feel 100% comfortable around you. It's also important to get to know the child/children as a indiviual and i would like to do that by involving everyone in fun activites inculding myself. Weather that would be outdoor games, board games also educational games. I it is also important to involve children and get them active. This helps children the keys skills they need while growing and developing. I would like to work as a baby sitter because I love to have that close bond with each child and watching them grow and develop right in front of your eyes is such a rewarding job.

I easily adapt to new environments and schedules which I feel is important when maintaining children's routines. Getting homework done at a cetain time right too getting them into bed at a certain time.

last but not least, I feel i am a calm and patience person and able to maintain that even though difficult times. I believe that every child that I have worked with in that past I developed a close bond and level of care and understanding. i am a easy going and bubbly person and I hope you would consider me.
