Ruth, babysitter in Broad haven

I started work with Mencap six months ago as I have a lot of time, patience and care to give. Although some of the work is rewarding I find it is not quite the direction I wish to put my energies into. Childcare, Having raised two daughters of whom I am very proud, is very fulfilling no matter how hard the day and knowing the work I will be undertaking will be allowing the parents peace of mind to concentrate of other areas of their lives is also great.
With some service users at Mencap I have brought new skills into their lives, enjoyed getting to know them and finding their likes and dislikes.
