I am an exchange student from Alaska, USA, studying this semester at the University of Stirling. I am therefore looking for a position until the end of April. I come from a large family and have experience looking after younger cousins of all ages, although most of my experience falls between the ages of 6 months to 10 years. I have dealt extensively with bottles and diapers, and enjoy reading to and playing with children, while still ensuring that they are properly fed and go to bed on time. I have experience with board games and several card games, as well as more imaginative games that I find children make up themselves, usually involving their toys, whether that be dolls, animals, locomotives, or legos. I tend to follow the child's lead during playtime, while encouraging their endless imagination. I am persuasive when it comes to bedtimes and eating when the child may not want to do either. When I look after children, I try my best to make the experience fun and enjoyable for the child.
