First and for most I am great with children, from a young age I have always taken an interest in taking care of children, whether it be younger family members or friends younger siblings. I feel it is so rewarding to have made a young person happy. I have not had much experience with looking after children, however my mother has a disability and I have had to help look after her from a young age, therefore I have developed a caring and patient manner which I believe is also what you need with a child, this also means I have experience with looking after people with special needs and would be more than happy to look after a child with special needs. I do not have a first aid qualification, however I have been taught basic first aid at the Air Cadet Squadron that I attend, this means I am aware of what to do with cuts, burns and broken bones, furthermore I also know how to put someone in the recovery position and how to perform CPR. Being in the ATC for just over 2 years now I have become much more confident around other people and have learnt leadership skills. I can ensure you that your children will not be stuck in front of the TV while in my care as having completed GCSEs in Art, Fashion and Food Technology I am very creative and would happily spend my time with your children painting, colouring, making cards, baking, etc-I am also willing to bring my own ingredients, paints, etc for these activities. Being young means I am very active so can keep up with the kids while running around and playing games which I think is vital as I believe that children should be spending more time outside, running around and enjoying the fresh air.

I am fairly flexible with what times and days I can work as having recently completed my GCSEs I am on an early summer holiday and there for can work day times, evenings and overnight from June 2015 to September 2015 when I will be beginning my A-levels-from then on I will only be able to do evenings and weekends. I am also often not able to work on Monday and Friday evenings due to my commitment to the ATC however if you are in need of a babysitter in an emergency circumstance I will be happy to come help.
