Hi, I'm Elissia. I'm 16 years old and I've always wanted to care for children. I've been babysitting my youngest cousin since birth, he's 2 years old now. I've loved helping him throughout his development and watching him grow.
My dad if profoundly deaf, which means I've been learning British Sign Language since the age of 2. So I'm able to teach children, and parents, some signs. I've taught my cousin some signs, for example please, thank you and how to ask for a drink. It's been very useful as he isn't talking yet.
I'm very patient, kind, outgoing and friendly. I'm an organised person and have a passion working with children. I spend alot of time with family, we go for walks to the park or we go swimming. So I'm very active and enjoy entertaining children.
I have alot of games and activities which are safe for the children. They're educational as well as fun. My cousin loves them.
