My name is Samantha, I am 24 years old and based in Colwyn Bay. I really enjoy working with children and I have a great deal of experience in this area. I would describe myself as patient, caring and reliable. My family fostered and I was a main carer for many children - ranging from 1 to 16. We often had sibling groups of 4+ children so I am pretty unflappable! I also have a background working with youth theatre groups and currently work part time in local schools as a teaching assistant. I have experience working with people with disabilities and am thoughtful and adept at meeting specialist needs. Alongside my childcare experience I am a recent English Lit graduate and part time playwright and theatre maker. I think children are brilliant, I am very passionate about engaging with them at their level and having lots of fun. I'm a big advocate of reading and playing rather than just sitting and watching tv. I'd be very happy to help with homework at any level. I am DBS checked.
