I am a hardworking, approachable and committed individual with an eye for detail. I have just completed my A levels and so am looking for summer work (and/or potentially gap year employment). Through volunteering at my school's nursery and becoming a leader of a 'Youth Club' for pupils who do not take part in sport or music, or, perhaps, find it more difficult to interact, my love for caring for children of all ages has grown. I am an effective communicator, thrive on overcoming challenges, and am willing to learn and develop new skills. I was appointed as a 'Senior Prefect' which improved my decisiveness, required me to have balanced views, and allowed me to hone the art of 'thinking on my feet'. I have been described by the headmistress of my school as ‘a valued member of the Senior Prefect team’ and so I am reliable to even the highest levels of authority. I would be incredibly grateful for the opportunity of any roles that may be available, as working with children is so fulfilling.
