Katie, babysitter in Crowthorne RG45

My name's Katie. I'm 14 years old, and studying at secondary school. I am just about to take my options, and will be choosing childcare; this will be beneficial for me as I would like a career as Primary School Teacher.

I have a little 2 year old cousin, who I have looked after several times, including overnight care (obviously with my mum). When I was in afterschool childcare myself, I assisted my childminder with all routines, including feeding, entertaining children and ensuring they were safe at all times.

I am very calm and relaxed around children, and love to see them happy. I feel I can make a real difference to their lives while they are in my care.

I love drawing, and making this a fun activity for the children. I'd also happily encourage roleplay, as this is brilliant for young children's development.

Obviously, as I am only 14 myself, I am unable to offer care overnight. Although I would be able to provide this with my mum, who has an enhanced DBS check. I am however available evenings and weekends. During the weekdays, as I have school the following day, I would only be available until 21:00.
