I am a psychology undergraduate, just finishing a placement at a research centre looking at the development of infants. I have had some experience minding these infants 0-2 years as well as their older siblings, some of whom had behavioural and developmental disorders. I will also be spending 2 weeks in a primary school working with children across the entire primary age range. Additionally I have some experience working with children and teenagers (6-14) with some social difficulties, preparing and carrying out activities from cooking, to outdoor games.
I tutor predominantly in Maths at KS3 and GCSE but am fully capable of helping younger students across a range of subjects.
I am a reliable and trustworthy person, who is not hesitant to get down to your children's level to engage, play and help them. I am a capable cook, and would be able to prepare simple meals for your children, I am also a very keen baker.
I played the flute from the age of 6 till I was 17 and was an active member of my school choir.
I will be attending an emergency first aid course very shortly and I also have 2 enhanced DBS checks.
