Merryn, babysitter in Killay SA2

I'm a 27 year old.
I have a younger brother and sister aged 11 and 15, whom I have looked after and babysat since they were very young while my parents worked, therefore I have a lot of first hand experience in caring for children of all ages.
I worked in Spain as a teaching assistant in a secondary school, as well as babysitting for two different families with children under 8 years and tutoring a boy of 9 years and a girl of 13 years in English.
After university I would like a career working with children. I enjoy being able to help them learn and grow. I believe I am very caring, I'm friendly and easy to get along with and I love to help people in any way I can.
Although I have no official qualifications in childcare, I have a lot of experience working and looking after children, and I believe that first hand experience is a quicker and more effective way to learn.
