Natasha, babysitter in Lancaster LA1

Hi, my name is Natasha and I am 26, I live in Lancaster in my own house with my almost 5 year old daughter.

After working in offices all my life, I recently decided to pursue a more fulfilling career choice and am currently in the process of looking to qualify as a childminder. Whilst in this process I have capacity to take on some childcare responsibilities and fit this in around my own parental responsibilities. I am available for part-time care, after-school care and pick up and drop offs to Moorside primary school. I am fairly flexible and can be available for certain nights evening babysitting at your house if this is required. Communication is key and I’m always happy to consider a request and work around you!

I am a friendly, communicable and reliable individual who understands the hectic nature of modern life and the need to have a secure childcare option to ensure you are able to have a fulfilling work-life balance. As a mum myself I understand how tricky this can be and aim to provide options to alleviate this as much as I can! As well as direct parental experience, I have experience with babysitting friends’ children up until the age of abut 5-6 as well as voluntary experience with older children and teenagers working in a Russian summer camp as well as voluntary work for a charity for vulnerable teenagers in the UK. I am also in the process of registering as a childminder.

In terms of my approach, I like to get involved with children. I’m quite outdoorsy and will always prefer getting kids outside, even if it is just to a local playpark. I also love creativity and will try to help children express this with crafts, colouring and drawing. However, I don’t think technology is a dirty word and there should be a realistic balance – I am a firm believer in the importance of curated and well-chosen educational content to enhance learning. As well as all of this, I am happy to help with homework as well as cook and clean if required. I've received my first vaccine.
