Gemma, babysitter in Ogmore-by-sea

I am a 17 year old student who would love to pursue a career with children in the suture. I have been a young leader for a local brownie unit for three years now, leading children aged 7-10 in games and activities. I have also completed a Pre-teaching level 3 NVQ this year which involved me having a two hour placement every week in a preschool with children aged 2-4. I have also helped out at a after school club before and made sure that everyone was entertained. I completed a first aid qualification a year and a half ago and have a DBS for working with children. I am a passionate and creative person which allows me to come up with a variety of ways to keep children happy. I am also friendly and patient, as well as empathetic which allows me to comfort children when they need it. I am confident and good at resolving conflict which allows me to keep children happy at all times.
