Who am I?
I'm Tasha. I'm 27 years old and I live in Royton. I'm a friendly, patient and caring person with 5 years’ experience working in a variety of childcare settings. My hobbies include making arts and crafts, cooking, going for walks, going to different events in my area, socialising with friends and reading.

My experiences?
I have been interested in looking after children since I was 15 years old. I finished school and did a Level 3 Diploma in childcare and education for 2 years. There I did lots of work experience working in nurseries and schools. I loved it! After I finished college I went to France and looked after a family friend's 6 year old and learned how to look after a child in their own home. I learnt a lot about myself and more about children. Then I came home and worked in a nursery for 2 years. I looked after 3-5 year olds and toddlers. I really enjoyed looking after the children and ensuring they are happy, healthy and having fun. I've recently been working in a college looking after students with learning difficulties which has been very interesting and insightful.

My qualities as a child carer?
Motivated to help children become happy, healthy and well behaved. Skilled in creating schedules, following commitments and maintaining routines. Listens carefully and follows directions well. Passion for encouraging a love of exploration and learning in every child. Deeply adores children and desires a long-term position. I love thinking of new fun activities to do with children. I'm always thinking on my feet and have a passion for adventure. You're children won't be bored. I am also firm and good with behaviour management as I have had training in the past.
