Hello,
My name is Shannon Marie . I live in Solihull and I am 18 years old. I live with my Mom who is a Nurse, my Dad who has his own Business and my little brother of 15, alongside a few furry friends.
I have babysat family from 5 months old to 12 years old since I was 15 and looked after family friends/neighbors children too. I also have a long term relationship and that comes along with a large family of children who i spend a lot of time around ages between 3 and 5.
I love spending time with children, I love watching and helping them grow and learn and being apart of their little lives.
I know a lot of people will be extremely weary/skeptical of letting people in their homes to look after their pride and joy let alone someone like me who doesn't have any 'professional experience' but I can absolutely assure you that I am 100% genuine and trustworthy and I have references ready to prove this in my portfolio I have made.
I am really enthusiastic, bubbly and most importantly reliable and trust-worthy. I always take time to bond with the children I look after as I know it can be intimidating having a stranger in your home to them (both first hand when I was babysat as a child and when I have babysat distressed toddlers when their parents leave to go out) which is why I always make sure that they know I am a kind, loving approachable person as soon as I get to meet them.
I prefer to babysit any time of day/night, special occasions or even just a few hours if you are running down the shops to get your shopping and don't want to bring your kids with you but I do not 'live-in' with the family. I am learning to drive at the moment which will benefit in the short future my ability to be able to do school runs etc that are not within walking distance.
