Hi, I'm Ellie and 16 years old.
I love working with children of all ages, and am able to help with things such as homework (primary and comprehensive), chores etc.
I work effectively when working individually and I feel I am a helpful and focused person. I have always enjoyed taking care of children as growing up I have spent a lot of time with my two younger siblings and my 6 nieces and nephews ranging from ages 6 months to 14 years old.
I volunteered with a disabled swimming club for 2 and a half years giving me the experience to plan activities, ensure the children were safe and comfortable also developing their learning. I found this highly enjoyable, and feel I could adapt these skills when working with children.
Unfortunately, I don't drive but arranging transport to and from houses isn't a problem. In less than two months I will be turning 17 meaning I will be able to begin learning to drive.
As I have no work experience of working with children, I feel £7.50 is a suitable price for families with more than 1 child. However, if you only have 1 child (means for any age) the price would be lowered to £5.
