I am currently studying Primary Education at the University of Winchester, and I am thoroughly enjoying it.
This past year I have been travelling, which was an incredibly rewarding experience. I volunteered in schools and villages in Thailand, worked at a Wildlife Sanctuary in South Africa, taught English in a school in Bali and lastly I taught waterskiing, lake activities, swimming and Lifeguarded at a summer camp in America. In America I looked after a bunk of 13 girls aged 9 and 10. During the day I taught girls (and boys at a seperate camp) ages ranging from 6-15. I am thus first aid and CPR trained (American Red Cross).
I would like to consider myself a sporty, outgoing, helpful and easy to get a long with person! Often I get called 'Big kid' however, I stress, a sensible one! I have also had experience looking after children as young as 2.
