My name is Halle , I am seventeen years old, and currently studying A Levels at college. Despite my age in comparison to some other babysitters, I do not believe it makes me any less suitable for the job. From the age of fourteen I have been looking after children, including teaching primary school children drama as an after school club for two years, and teaching children aged 3 - 10 years old in my musical theatre company for two years to present day, and have references if necessary. As such, I have practice in helping children develop communication and confidence skills, two key details in development, which I have in the past developed in games used in my drama company. I also regularly help my own younger cousins and niece and nephew with their homework in both primary and secondary school, and thus am able and more than happy to help the children with their own homework, my grades in my GCSEs showing that my capability in this. I consider myself to be a fun, imaginative and caring person, whilst also able to be firm where necessary. Growing up with many younger family members ranging from toddlers to early teenagers, male and female, I often find myself taking part in 'playing pretend' with the members of my family, with different levels of sophistication and imagination for different ages, as well as being able to find activities to defeat boredom, whether it be the small things like colouring competitions, to bigger things like creating new stories and role playing.
