My name is Ellie, I am 20 and currently studying Fine Art at Kingston Art Foundation. I am currently in the process of applying to university to study Fine Art, starting in September. I am a responsible, enthusiastic and caring individual, who really enjoys looking after children.
I am an adventurous individual and have many different interests, one of which is music. I am grade 8 on the violin and singing, and grade 7 on the piano. I love singing, and have done since I was very young, particularly folk and musical theatre. As well as music art is obviously a huge part of my life, as well as drama and sport.
Last year I took a gap year and spent it as a gappie at a school called Timbertop part of Geelong Grammar. It is based in the Victorian High Country, 3 hours north of Melbourne. It is a campus for only year 9 as they go onto the senior campuses after this year. A huge part of the programme is the outdoors, and so every week the students and staff go out out on 3-6 day hikes and run 3 times a week, completing the year by running 32km. Whilst there I was 1 of 12 assistants from around the world. We had many roles within the school, however as it was a boarding school we also had a pastoral role. I was on the duty staff of two girl units and each had 15 in and so I acted as a role model and there to help them especially as many missed home.
All member of staff live on campus and many had young families and so on occasion I would babysit for their children from ages of a few months old-8.
I am a charismatic, caring and responsible person who is looking to do some babysitting to support my studies and would really enjoy the experience.
