Kathryn, babysitter - LE10 Burbage

I am an experienced mum and primary school teacher. I have experienced of looking after and teaching children upto of 16. I have been teaching for 18 years and have worked with lots of children with special educational needs. I can makaton sign and have experience of working who are visually impaired and children who are hearing impaired. I have a wealth of experience of working with autistic children and setting up provision for them such a visual prompts and timetables. I have an autistic son myself who has major sensory needs.

I enjoy playing and providing play and learning based activities fro children. I also plan days out for my own family & other members of our family.
I would be able to support with homework and learning based activities.

In my role as a teacher i have developed fun motor activities such as finger gym and dough disco. I love music and enjoy singing & dance activities.

I see the devlopment of the whole child when supporting children, I teach and care for. I feel is crucial to ensure children feel safe and secure and I have built positive relationships with both children and parents working together for each child.
