Nicole, babysitter - LS26 Rothwell

Hello, my name is Nicole I am 16, 17 on the 28th of March. I love working with kids as they are the tiny humans, they believe in magic and they play pretend and make belief and they are still learning in life, which is why they are more resilient than adults because they believe and they hope! I believe I can help them with whatever they need. I believe in many ways I'm still a kid as I'm silly and playful because I have a good imagination and I can create games that are simple yet educational, and I think there's is more exciting ways to look after children than just sitting them in front of a tv? Im active, as children are high energy and are constantly on the go. But I'm still responsible and think of situations from every angle. I'm very dependable and trustworthy and I'm capable of looking after any child. I have quite a lot of experience as I have been looking after children/babies from the age of 13, I've looked after my brother, cousins, neighbours, family friends! The most children I have looked after at once is 6. Being a child carer is a lot like being a teacher as you have to engage with the children and address concerns in a constructive manner as well as acting like a role model for example helping with homework and being compassionate about a child's feelings. I consider myself to be a strong head person but do have a sensitive side and can be sensitive to a child's needs and can put their wishes before my own. I am always on time and am a very patient person, which you have to be most times when looking after children:)
