Alicia, babysitter - LS4 Leeds

Hello I'm Alicia and I am passionate about children:) My desire is to become a primary school teacher to give children the best start to life. I have experience in babysitting where I looked after a 4 year old child throughout holidays and weekends over a year. This role consisted of taking responsibility for his safety, following parents' wishes by creating a partnership to support regulating his diet and behaviour and using his interests and creativity to keep him engaged. I enjoyed this job as I formed a strong bond with the child which made him feel safe. I also volunteered at Brownies for 6 months where I worked with a group of approx thirty 5-11 year olds. Here I lead group activities and kept the children engaged. I currently work as a play worker in an afterschool club just one day a week where I have gained and am still gaining a lot of experience by working with groups of up to 45 children aged 4-11. I love this job and keeping the children entertained and interacting with each other. I hold a level 3 in paediatric first aid and a level 2 award in food safety and catering.
I am willing to travel and have easy access to Halifax and Huddersfield areas as well as Brighouse/Wyke.
