I live on a small village in Cumbria away from anywhere, travelling is not an issue so please don't be put off.
I am a caring, motivated energetic person who loves a challenge.
I love the outdoors going for walks and taking in the scenery. I love working with children watching them grow thrive and learn, love being a part of their development, it is such a rewarding job knowing you have played even sometimes such a small part in their life helping them develop.
I have worked in a nursery in Carlisle for nearly 5 years, during this time I worked with children from 3 months to school age following daily routines for children ensuring needs were always met. I also got promoting during my time here to under 2's supervisor.
I themoved on to nannying recently the reason being I loved working closely with parents on the nursery setting but sometimes found this difficult as yours would change etc, I also feel you can make a stronger bond with the children and their parents, which in my experience has been very true. I love working as a nanny, I feel that it is more rewarding and I have loved the relationships I have made I know they will always be a part of my life even when I leave.
I can adapt activities to suit all the children making them age and development appropriate. I plan activities based on children's interests and development along with outings.
I plan days giving children a variety from one to one interaction, independent play and educational activities, but I always talk to the parents first ensuring I know exactly what type of children they require.
