Hello, my name is Jess and I am a 26 year old woman with loads of experience of working with children, families and vulnerable adolescents. I am degree educated and have gone on to complete courses in adult sector learning and therefore more than happy to help your child(ren) complete any homework they may have. I love playing board games and computer games.
I have experience volunteering in SureStart groups with children and families in order to engage children in activities and games and offer support, help and advice to families on a variety of topics.
I have also volunteered in primary schools, assisting with learning, playing games, acting as a positive role model.
I was employed as an education assistant for young people with learning disabilities in a secure care setting. This involved one to one and group learning opportunities, supporting young people to achieve their educational goals.
I currently work with vulnerable adults with a range of learning disabilities, mental health and acquired brain injuries, developing and teaching life skills. I have therefore been DBS checked by my employer.
I am a fun, enthusiastic and caring individual, I have two nephews and a niece between the ages of 3-10 and I am very involved in their day to day lives. Including repeated watching of the film Frozen! I work full time and I'm therefore looking for evening or weekend work. Thanks for reading!
