Hello my name is Terri, I am 19 years old and have always loved looking after my cousins. This inspired me to go to college and study childcare learning and development and I am now a level 3 qualified practitioner. I am advancing my studies and currently doing my extended diploma in childcare to gain more knowledge and experience. I have worked in St Woolos Primary school in year 1 and 2 for over a year. Therefore my main experience is with children aged 5-7. However I have experience babysitting for all ages, as I have looked after my cousins and currently I look after my nephew who is 18 months old. I am a fun, trustworthy, kind and caring practitioner and I do not mind what age the children are that I care for. I find the development of children intriguing and enjoy being in their company. I have a current DBS which I will be happy to share with you. I understand that all children are different and have individual needs therefore it is my duty of care to support them and help them whenever I can.
I love to cook, cooking is one of my favourite things to do. I also have my food hygiene certificate which I receive last year. I can cook a variety of meals which are nutritious and delicious. I also love to sing, I believe music and singing is really important and its one of the best way to learn and teach children. I grew up in Spain therefore I also speak Spanish, which I would be happy to teach if that is something you are interested in.
I have 13 GCSES and 4 A-levels therefore if you have older children I will be happy to help them with their homework.
If you require any other information email me, I would be happy to reply.
Thank you!
