Shannon, babysitter - NP44 Cwmbran

My name is Shannon . I am 17 years old and attending Pontypool College, where I plan to go into Midwifery after I have finished my second year.
I have 2 years experience in child development studies and my course now, (Health and Social Care Level 3) also entails key aspects of early childhood development. I have had previous experience with pre-schoolers in a nursery and also have had additional experience in a nursery over in Munich, Germany. I am now currently working on a Maternity ward and providing care to newborns for mothers.
My creative and energetic personality enables me to relate and have patience with children. After developing this odd trait amongst my 4 younger siblings I am now often conjoined by them all at the hip, and have found myself watching Cbeebies and singing along to Mr.Tumble, even without the children...
Nevertheless, from my unique qualities I am seen as the second mum in the house but, I cannot deny that I love it.
I know that children can become an obstacle for parents wanting to have alone time and I am always offering to babysit for family members and so, I would welcome the oppotunity to be contacted if you have any questions you would like me to answer.
