Sofia, babysitter - NR2 Norwich

My name is Sofia , I am a second year Maths Undergraduate student at the University of East Anglia. I would like to offer my work as a babysitter for children from the age of 5 onwards. I am a kind, positive and patient person. I like to engage children in fun activities and games, using my initiative to find ways to entertain them without the help of televisions or other electronic devices. I also understand the importance of being slightly strict in some cases (e.g. when they have to go to bed) , but I can be firm in a calm and gentle way.
I have had a few previous experiences. I use to babysit / teach English to 3 children (aged 6, 9 and 13). Being of so different ages I had to be very creative in finding a big range of games which they would both enjoy and would be useful to help them improve with the language. I also volunteered in a children's play scheme for a month. I had to deal with very little children and made sure they were safe and happy at all times, organizing games that ranged from hide and seek to ball games or water games. I was always complimented for my jobs and was always asked by the children to stay longer.
