Jaimee, babysitter - OL8 Bardsley

Hi, my name is Jaimee and I am 19 years old.

I am a very reliable, trustworthy person who loves to work with children! I offer child care in the Oldham/Manchester area. I have quite a large family in which there are many young children, I have had many opportunities to look after children from the moment their first born, showing I can work with babies and children of any age and can be trusted with their safety and well being. I am also able to cook meals for the children and have had plenty of experience in doing this!

I have a very fun and friendly personality! I love to help and would be able to not only care for the child/children but would additionally be able to carry out any household chores that need to be done that day.

I have recently finished college, gaining a qualification in 'Specialist support in teaching and learning'. This qualification allowed me to gain experience with working with children from ages 3 and above. I am qualified in understanding a child's development, safeguarding their welfare, the importance of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and supporting positive behaviour.

I have also studied communication and professional relationships with children, young people and adults, schools as organisations including types of schools, policies and procedures and the wider environment in which they operate which shows that I carry out my work professionally and understand the regulations of the job.

I have also spent time planning and delivering lessons with other teachers which shows that I know what activities children find entertaining whilst learning new knowledge at the same time which I could carry out when babysitting, I am also very helpful if the children have any homework that they need to do for school.

I have also had experience working as a voluntary youth worker, here I gained knowledge of how to interact with children of different ages. I am able to use my creative personality to involve the children in arts and craft activities if they would like but also take part in any sports games the children would like to play such as basketball or football.
