Katie, babysitter in Old leake

I am 17 years old, 18 in December. I attend Boston college studying Uniformed Public Services (Level 3). Last year at college I was studying Health and Social care, for my work experience I worked in ingelow manor, which is a separate building of the college for students with learning disabilities.

I am currently living with my parents and my brother (14yrs) and sister (12yrs). I moved to the UK almost three years ago from Germany, I was living in Germany because my father was in the army and we were posted there.

In Germany I would often babysit for different families, I babysat children from the ages 5months to 10years. Some of the activities I would do with the children were watch movies, play board games. When I was caring for a baby (5months old) I needed to feed him and put him to sleep. The child also had asthma so I was taught what to do if he has an asthma attack and the signs.

I am a very caring person and am very good with children. I am often told I am very patient.
