Hello, my name is Anya.
I've grown up in the Torbay area from the age of 7, but have been lucky enough to travel quite widely already (so I have some great stories!). For as long as I can remember, I have loved children, always rushing to play with younger cousins, beg to do the feeding, or play games, put them to bed, and it is rare that I find a child I can't get along with!
When I was 13 years old, I took a first aid course that qualified me with basic first aid, and though I did not renew my certification, those skills are still fresh in my mind. I am a competent cook, so if needs be, you will know that your child(ren) will have a nice, wholesome meal, and at a reasonable time. I believe that continuity and routine is one of the most important things when it comes to childcare, so I will be happy to uphold any rules you put in place (I might still find a way to make tidying up fun though!). I am a very dedicated and committed person, and taken on a fair amount of extracurricular activities in my school history, so time management is something I would consider a very good strength of mine, but it also lends an experienced ear to the range of school gripes children might want to talk about.
I'm currently in year 13, doing my A levels, I am hoping to study Arabic and Politics at university, and I am predicted very good grades, so if I need to help with any homework, it shouldn't be a problem at all! But my age and student status means that I don't have the qualifications that childminders and other professionals might have, but I've done some work experience at a local primary school, and I have had experience babysitting cousins between the ages of 4 to 18 months for several hours at a time (I seem to have a natural knack with babies), so I would be suited to working with children at any age.
I would love to get in contact with you to see if I would be a good fit with your family!
