My name is Stephanie and I am a student at the University of Portsmouth. I am currently studying a degree in Psychology and would like to babysit and care for children (part-time) to earn money to live on.
In terms of experience with children, I have looked after my little sister at my parents request until I moved to university (she is 7 years old). I also have work experience at a high school which shows my ability to work with children of multiple ages.
Before moving to Portsmouth I worked as a waitress and at a legal office filing which shows that I am a trusted and capable individual. Your child/children will be safe in my hands!
I love to read and am happy to help children with homework (if old enough/required). I can play the french horn and tenor horn (with basic piano and very basic flute skills) so if they are learning musical instruments I would be delighted to listen to them practice. I believe that it is important for children to play outside and would be happy to walk them to a local park/take them for a bike ride. In terms of games and activities that are desired if I do not know them I am very eager to learn to suit any needs - I am even happy to use arts and crafts play with provided materials.
In terms of children with disabilities, I do not discriminate and although I do not have any experience with such, if you provide basic instructions for their specialised care I will ensure that they are followed to the letter. As a psychology student I believe that providing the highest level of care possible is the only thing that should be done.
If you have any questions I would be happy to answer them.
