Laura, baby sitter in Portsmouth PO5

My name is Laura , I am 19 years old and about to start university in Portsmouth.
After completing High school I started at Sixth Form College where I achieved 3 A-levels enabling me to apply to my chosen university in Portsmouth. Between sixth form and starting university I decided to take a year out to work and travel.
During my sixth form years, I helped in a variety of activities involving local primary schools, introduction days, year six open evenings and Christmas parties. Last summer I took part in a school trip to Uganda. During the lead up to this trip I decided I would take a gap year to help broaden my knowledge and understanding of both this country and others. During my year out of education I worked to earn money in a hotel and a local inn which I have done for the last two years, this enabled me to travel around Thailand and go and work out in a summer camp in America working with children aged 6 months- 16 years. I also worked with special needs adults at this camp and then travel around America. I've also volunteered in a care home and at a school for children with special needs ages 3-19 years. I am about to start university in Portsmouth where I will be studying criminology along with psychology, so I am therefore looking for a part time job to fit in with my studies.
I have a lot of experience with children including, work experience at a child minders, looking after family friends children, helping out at after school clubs, working at a summer camp and in a special needs school.
