Hi my name is Tanya and I'm 46yrs old. I have a 21 year old son. I am patient, kind, caring and trustworthy. I have worked in childcare for nearly 12 yrs for Reading Borough Council and hold an enhanced CRB. For the last 5 years I have worked with children with SEN helping them to progress in their development following the Portage model including autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and complex needs. I also help to develop their communication and language. Other training includes Makaton, PECS, Attention Autism, ELSA, Paediatric First Aid, BSL level 1, Portage, NQV 3 Cache in Childcare, Safeguarding, Health & Safety level 1, Advanced Autism, Sadeguarding SEN children.
I have Previous babysitting experience with a 3yr old and 1yr old (sisters) 5yr and 11yr old (nephews) and 7 month old baby boy (lives near me) Currently studying for my level 2 BSL. I also volunteer at a falconry centre on Sunday's looking after and flying the birds.
