Hello, my name is Rebekah. I have just completed my first year at University studying Medicine. Now home until September, I would love to spend this time productively and with few summer plans I'm very flexible on working hours so childcare seems ideal.
With a passion for sports and the outdoors I have had a wide range of experience working with children of a variety of ages. As a qualified level 2 swimming teacher I previously taught swimming regularly at my local leisure centre to children aged 5-18. Also, two years ago I volunteered at a swimming camp in Switzerland - working with young children whose first language was not English. Furthermore, as an accomplished horse rider I have done voluntary work at my local stables, mucking out on the yard as well as helping out in the lessons. This has involved engaging with both the children and their parents to help make their lessons fun and enjoyable. As for other relevant experience I've also helped out regularly at a toddler group which I thoroughly enjoyed.
I have a gentle nature, am caring and compassionate and able to relate well to children. I work hard but I also know how to have fun and am aware of how important the latter is. Quite simply I would love to be of help and get to know you and your children.
My course requires a DBS, which I have.
