I'm Heidi and I am a college student. I have a qualification in Health and Social Care and also have a separate Babysitting qualification that I completed in my spare time. I already babysit for several parents. The children I babysit at the moment range from ages 6 months to 4 years. My partner also has two twin brother and sisters at the age of 6 years old, who I often look after too. I love babysitting and I am looking to do a lot more of it, which is my reason for applying for this job. Whilst babysitting, I often play with the children with their toys or watch their favourite TV programmes. If it is night time, I will put them to bed. Sometimes, the younger children cry a lot before going to sleep, I have dealt with these situations very well and maturely and the parents have been very pleased with me.

I am aware that the children I babysit have hard working parents. Sometimes, these parents need time for themselves, this is why I charge minimum wage for babysitting because I understand the importance of the parents having time for themselves and I would not wish this to be expensive for them. I also just really enjoy babysitting.
