Niamh, babysitter - SA2 Sketty

I am young, with what may seem little experience in childcare but I adore children and am comfortable communicating and playing with them. I live in a family with a single parent and a younger brother, my mother having unfortunately passed away when i was nine, and so i took on many responsibilities in the house. To begin with it was simply entertaining my brother and progressed to babysitting him for long periods of time (on occasion over night), having to cook for him, tidy the house and entertain him or help with schoolwork. I've learnt to cook, entertain, and care for children of many ages and take great pleasure in doing so. I am willing to take the children out on trips to the beach, park and so forth. Seeing as I am coming up to finishing my GCSE's I would also be willing to help with homework and any school projects, I also received my education in welsh and will be able to help if they are studying at a welsh school. I have basic first aid that the school has offered as well as the fact that i am planning on getting work experience at the hospital this summer as i plan to study medicine in the future. I really do enjoy working with children of all ages and I hope you consider me in your decision. Thank you.
