Hi! My name is Sabrina, I am currently working at a secondary school in south east London.

I am friendly, fun and I genuinely enjoy spending time with children! I can make any activity fun and rewarding, whether that’s making sure homework gets done or getting your child to brush their teeth before bedtime.

From the age of about 17/18, I remember looking after family or friend’s children as young as 6 months old up to 14 years old. I worked as a TA at Stagecoach Blackheath for a few years, where I helped coach children aged 4-6 years old singing, dancing and acting. I mentioned I also currently work at a secondary school, where I provide 1-2-1 support for students at age 15-18 with their Music and Music Technology GCSE and A-levels. In the past, I have also worked with a company called Tinies, a children’s day care service in Westminster. Over the years, I have worked with children from all different backgrounds and upbringing. Most notably, I have worked with children who have Autism, ASD, OCD and ADHD.

I believe these experiences I’ve had over the years have strongly equipped me with the knowledge and skills I can provide to meet the needs of your child/children. With me as your childcarer, I won’t be just a ‘body’ to look after your children, I’ll go above and beyond because I genuinely do care about children’s welfare.

Additionally, I can also do some basic cooking and cleaning, and general help around the house if needs be.

Explanation:

I have over 5 years of experience in working with, or looking after children and young people. I believe I go above and beyond (not just a body to supervise children), because I care. I care about children’s needs and their education, and I am aware that this is a crucial time for them when they are at the developmental stage. Which is why when I babysit, most of the time we do story time, play time, ‘learning’ time (although this can be done through stories); etc. I make sure I have some sort of fun/interesting activity we can do together. I will make sure whatever that needs to get done (brushing teeth, doing homework) gets done in a fun, engaging way for the children.

Additionally, I am happy to help out with chores around the house if needs be, I can do dishes, cook, clean, dust, wipe surfaces. The only things I can’t do is laundry and the bathroom area. Thank you.
