I am currently a first year Primary Education student, studying at the University of Winchester who has chosen a subject specialism of geography. I want to teach children aged 5-11 because making a difference is something that I thrive to do and seeing the results of the effort I’ve put in is highly rewarding. However, I enjoy working with and supporting children within a range of settings, ages and with a variety of tasks.

I commit 100% to tasks and have the work ethic to succeed but want to continue learning new ways to improve. I am a hard working young person who can work both independently and with others. I am a very enthusiastic and believe that being punctual and trustworthy is vital and I have both these qualities.

I have a range of experience working with children, starting from nurseries and working up to Secondary School. I have also been lucky enough to work in children's centres (which has valued my knowledge and resources for engaging and extending children's leanring and development). I currently hold a Level 3 BTEC in Children's learning play and development which required me to complete 800 hours of experience and have just finished my first year at the University of Winchester studying Primary Education.

As a result of the qualification, I feel comfortable working with a range of individuals (both adults and children) and competent in my ability to care for children. I have had experience of working with children from the ages of newborn up to age 15, and enjoy supporting children of any age.

Previously I have volunteered with two families, supporting young children with their education as well as supporting two children from a vulnerable family. I was able to provide emotional support and developed the children's learning.

University has limited my ability to work with children regularly, and therefore I am looking for flexible opportunities to babysit or any tasks available.
