Jessica, babysitter - SR1 Sunderland

My name is Jessica Alice , I am a graduate of the University of Sunderland where I got a degree in Childhood Studies. I've had past experience working in a primary school, briefly in a day care, and past babysitting experience for a couple of years as a teenager.
I am looking for any type of care that involves me coming to your home to look after your children, day and night, or picking them up from school and so on. I am flexible and I can adjust myself to your needs.
I am a very patient person, as you can need to be with children. I get on with children well, I try hard to make sure they're as safe and entertained as possible. I understand the importance of playing with children and have experience doing so but I am also aware of how necessary it is for children to have done their homework before they start playing. I aim to be whatever you need me to be around the house, from cooking to cleaning if it needs doing. I am also a big crafter, such as knitting and such; but I have also done crafting for and with children in schools and during my degree where I made a puppet for instance, and would be very comfortable keeping the children entertained.
I am also a big reader and have experience reading with children in a school setting; my dissertation was on children reading and how having a love of reading as a child influences a love of reading when they're adults. As such I would very much be able to read with your child, both for fun and to help their improve their reading skills if necessary.
