Kaidee, babysitter in Test Valley

I’m Kaidee and I am turning 17 on the 6th of July. I have had much experience when it comes to looking after children, ranging from babysitting to volunteering in two different schools; Knights Enham Infants School and Norman Gate School.

From a young age I have babysat my two younger sisters whenever I was needed. I also had a paying babysitting job when I was 14 which I had to look after two children ages 2 and 6.

When working at Knights Enham, I was working with children ages 5 and 6 every Wednesday morning and all day Thursday for over 100 hours. I learnt how to support the children and meet their needs. Whilst being at Norman Gate, I developed my knowledge about learning disabilities and develop my knowledge on over coming communication barriers with children.

I would say I am a approachable individual and easy to get on with. I know how to keep children busy and can use my imagination to keep the children entertained.
