Carrie-ann, babysitter - TF2 Oakengates

My name is Carrie-Ann, I am 17 years old and looking for weekend and evening jobs. I am currently studying in full time education and finish this at 4pm each day so I will be available from about 5pm onwards on most evenings due to transport and me getting home etc...
In my secondary school, I studied Childcare Development and gained a B grade and I now study Health and Social Care. These two qualifications have enabled me to have a better knowledge of children and how they develop and act. I also have the knowledge about different circumstances (eg, disabilities) and know how to deal with them.
My previous experience in this involves looking after family relatives children with different age groups, therefore, I understand how to effectively look after children in these different age ranges. I am able to easily adapt to different situations and challenges that are thrown at me. I also had a job at Wacky Warehouse which enabled me to work with a lot of children at different ages. The jobs I had to do involved: serving and preparing food, hosting parties and playing with the children with the play equipment. This helped me gain confidence in working with children and made me realise that I would like to work with children in the future.
