Hi I'm currently a university student training to be a primary school teacher so as you can probably imagine I absolutely adore children and spending time with them is a real pleasure for me. Prior to embarking on my university degree I gained a fair bit of experience working with children; I volunteered as a helper for children learning to swim which required me to be very patient and demonstrate a caring attitude towards children at all times. I also volunteered in a reception class which required me to come up with lots of creative activities to ensure the children were kept engaged. Further more in the past I have also volunteered in a children's community centre, I worked with children from ages 5-11 and it was my responsibility to make sure all the children were having a fun evening while also ensuring that children were supported if they were upset for any reason. Whilst undertaking the first year of my degree I completed a placement at a school in Liverpool, here I was responsible for teaching a year 3 class for approximately 8 weeks, during my time here I had to deliver whole class lessons and also maintain the well being of children in my care. I love nothing more than spending time with children and I'm very much looking forward to supporting your family.
