Hello I am Rebecca reed and 18 years of age, I am currently studying a higher education degree at Teesside university to help get me into university to study social work.
I am currently looking for part time work that will be flexible around my course and have chosen to apply for this job as I am enthusiastic about helping young children learn new skills but also to help out parents who struggle to find someone to look after their child/ren when needed.
I have many different experiences working and interacting with young children as I have previously carried out work experience in a private day nursery. This involved helping out the staff by encouraging the children to participate in activities but also finding games that the children will enjoy. My role was also to clean the nursery anrd make sure the environment was safe for the children.
I have also volunteered with a local special needs group which was also working with children but who had complex and individual needs.
