my name is Skye , I am 16 and have just started at Rotherham college where I am now doing a two year childcare level 3 course, where I will come out in the end with a full degree and a Paediatric first aid certificate. I am looking for a weekend job babysitting, and I am more then happy to work both Saturday and Sunday through the day and the evening of those two days. I did childcare in years 10 and 11 and passed both years. I have two younger brothers aged 8 and 12 who I have looked after both since they were very little, I looked after my youngest brother since he was born, meaning I have a lot of experience looking after children at different ages and at different stages as they grow up. I am very good at getting children to stay occupied and happy. I have also managed to get my little brother to try new foods such as different fruits by a game I made up where you get different types of fruits, cut them into little pieces on separate plates, and the child has to close their eyes and take a piece and try and guess what it is. By doing this game it gives the child chance to learn about new fruits, learn new names of fruits and also its a great way to get the child to eat healthier in a fun way rather than letting them stuff their faces with chocolate and other foods that aren't very good for the child's health.
Occasional babysitting | $5.00 per hour |
I charge £5.00 an hour as I do not wish to take much off the parents as I feel its unfair to them, as they need as much money as they can to look after their children and families. Therefore I feel £5.00 is a reasonable amount to charge per hour as it enables me to not take much off the carers however its enough for me to have for things like travel.
