Hello, my name is Ellie . I am 18 years old and have just completed a diploma in Health and Social Care. Although Health and Social Care doesn't focus entirely on childcare we did cover the topic of children many times. Throughout this course I carried out a placement and work experience with a nursery based in the Hagley area. I enjoyed this thoroughly and enjoyed experiencing looking after children of various ages between the ages of 1 and 5.
I am professional, polite, bubbly, confident and hard-working. I have experience in one to one care as I often look after my niece who is 18 months and my little sister who is 7.
After working in the nursery for several months twice a week, I learnt many activities to carry out with children including songs, rhymes, both interactive and quieter games and how to ensure that children are not feeling left out.
I am ideally looking for occasional evening or day-time work at the moment. I do not drive unfortunately so therefore I would not be able to carry out school lifts.
