Yasmin, babysitting - AB24 Aberdeen

Hi! My name is Yasmin, Im 18 years old, responsible, very easy to get along with and am currently in my first year of university, Im studying to become a pharmacist! I am happy to babysit children of all ages. I have been babysitting family/friends children for a couple of years now and am the oldest of the seven children in my family so have experienced looking after children of all different ages. I take great care when looking after children and enjoy playing games and having fun but also helping them with homework and hobbies etc. I have babysat children with mild learning difficulties before and am good at controlling situations and keeping everyone safe and happy! I volunteered in an orphanage in Romania last summer which provided me with lots more experience and knowledge.

Experience:
Babysitting family/family friends children.
Volunteered at a summer camp and an orphanage in Romania during the summer.
My grandfather was both blind and deaf and from a very young age I learnt how to care for him and I was often left to look after him as I was very good at it.
I was a young leader at my guides group, this involved me organising fun and age appropriate activities for ages 10-14, and often taking a small group of them out to the park or on activities etc.
I have learnt basic first aid in school (CPR, recovery position) and have completed an online lesson on how to help a choking child/infant

My Availability:
I am usually available most week nights (some weekdays depending on uni schedule latest finish is 5pm but often have half days) and am available certain weekends (with notice)
I am happy to take children to and from clubs/hobbies and out for activities (going to the park/for a walk etc) however I do not own a car
I am also happy to cook dinner/ do any mild housework that is needed

My Qualifications
I have completed 6 National 5 qualifications, 6 Higher qualifications, 1 Advanced Higher and am currently in first year of a masters degree in Pharmacy

Personal Interests
I am very interested in the sciences outside of school and would be happy to help your child with homework as I believe education is very important.
Although I am very logical and scientific one of my biggest hobbies is art, I love to draw, paint and design and find that art is a really good way to interact with children.
