My name is Beth, I live in Basildon, I'm 16 years of age but have many years of caring for family members children under my belt. I have been looking after children since i was around 12 years old so i would say i have a pretty good understanding of how to look after children. As well as this, i did my work experience in a nursery which gave me more valuable experience and taught me many important skills to childcare. I am looking to work after school hours, evenings and weekends as well as school holidays including summer. I am willing to help with homework, cook for children, housework (hoovering, washing up, washing, cleaning floors, ironing etc.), take children out places (if funds provided), prepare school lunches, bath and get children ready for bed. I am a hard worker so i like to make sure i get everything done and make sure it is done well to its highest standard and full potential. I am trustworthy, mature and organised as well as being a good manager of time. I am always punctual, never late and make sure i am always well dressed as i believe that sometimes looks can be important even with a job like these. I have a lot of experience in entertaining children and i enjoy activities such as swimming, playing football, going to parks and other outdoor areas as well as simple things such as playing video games, board games and other childrens games like hide and seek. I like to make my time with children as enjoyable as possible while i can although i do like to stress that a routine is important therefore i would be inclined to try to get the children into a regular night time routine.
