Aaliyah, babysitting in Cambridge

My name is Aaliyah Jade ; I am 18 years of age and attend Anglia Ruskin University as a First Year Psychology student.

I am looking to find a part-time or occasional babysitting job and any childcare job in general as I am very passionate about children, and being the eldest of 3 young siblings , aged 7 to 14, have had plenty of experience coordinating fun activities for children as well as preparing meals, changing nappies and providing one to one care.
However, I do not have professional experience working with children, but consider myself to be a very responsible individual who is willing and ready to provide the best care possible.
I am also very handy around the home and am ready to complete any chores that require attending to.
My passion for childcare has stemmed from the realisation, when my siblings were babies, that children never fail to leave a smile on my face.
I feel it is my responsibility as an adult to lead children in the right path and to provide them with the confidence they need to conquer anything in life, even homework!!
I have had experience mentoring secondary school pupils (year 7 to 8) in literacy. As an ERIC (Everybody reads in class) mentor in sixth form, I was able to establish successful communication with my mentees, giving them the encouragement to improve their reading skills and entrust me with any concerns they had.

Overall, I am genuine and honest; I would be more than grateful to work with your children, not only for the happiness they will give me, but most importantly, for the happiness I can provide for them.
